Jacobs Hires Hut 8 for Data Center Project
Hut 8 is building a $10 billion data center campus in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, with construction underway and operations expected in 2027. The project, supported by Jacobs and Vertiv, will have an initial utility capacity of 330 megawatts and the potential to scale up to 1,330 megawatts.

Texas Department of Transportation Launches Multi-Year US Highway 90 Expansion Project with $500 Million Budget
TxDOT is expanding U.S. Highway 90 in west Bexar County to a six-lane expressway with frontage roads. The $500 million project, divided into two phases, aims to reduce commute times and improve safety. Phase 1, from I-410 to Loop 1604, is underway and expected to be completed by 2030, while Phase 2, from Loop 1604 to SH 211, is partially funded and expected to be completed by 2031.
