EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking an Ironworker with Commercial/Industrial experience to join the team in Mehoopany, PA.

Duties and Responsibilities
Rigging structural steel
Connect and bolt-up of structural steel
Detail work on structural steel, such as installation of bar joist, bridging, decking, and handrail
Welding of structural steel (stick welding) and rigging of equipment
Ability to understand and follow all safety rules and regulations associated with industrial steel industry
Using required tools to perform daily tasks as needed
EGC is a merit shop contractor supporting a Team working environment. All Team members will be required from time to time to perform other duties they are qualified to perform, outside of this job description and their normal work function.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
OSHA 10 Certified, preferred
Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills
Be willing to work within a 50 mile radius - Ability to travel is a plus
Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
