Job Overview
Duties and Responsibilities
Overseeing construction projects’ subcontractors and effectively managing carpenters per the construction timeline provided by the construction project manager.
Must be able to self-perform rough and finish carpentry as needed per project.
Supervise and delegate tasks to carpenters and other construction workers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes to keep the jobsite safe, clean, and orderly.
Interpret and implement blueprints to ensure project success.
Address any client concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the project are available and properly maintained.
Order materials and equipment as required for the project with reference to our procurement department.
Coordinate with suppliers to receive materials on site.
Provide quality control for all completed works.
Willing to travel.
Job Qualifications
Must reside in Wisconsin
Extreme attention to detail
Proven experience as a carpenter foreman or similar supervisory role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team setting
Good physical condition/stamina required as a general labor will be needed
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED in skilled trade will be a plus
Minimum of 5 years foreman experience and 3 years superintendent in the industry
Ability to shift tasks at a moment’s notice
Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Pay is based on experience
