Job Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing construction projects’ subcontractors and effectively managing carpenters per the construction timeline provided by the construction project manager.

• Must be able to self-perform rough and finish carpentry as needed per project.

• Supervise and delegate tasks to carpenters and other construction workers.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes to keep the jobsite safe, clean, and orderly.

• Interpret and implement blueprints to ensure project success.

• Address any client concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

• Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the project are available and properly maintained.

• Order materials and equipment as required for the project with reference to our procurement department.

• Coordinate with suppliers to receive materials on site.

• Provide quality control for all completed works.

• Willing to travel.

Job Qualifications

• Must reside in Wisconsin

• Extreme attention to detail

• Proven experience as a carpenter foreman or similar supervisory role

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team setting

• Good physical condition/stamina required as a general labor will be needed

• 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or GED in skilled trade will be a plus

• Minimum of 5 years foreman experience and 3 years superintendent in the industry

• Ability to shift tasks at a moment’s notice

• Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment

• Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines

• Pay is based on experience
