Formwork Concreter

Job Overview

North West Mining and Civil have some exciting opportunities for experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our team.

You will be involved in a combination of formwork, concrete work, general carpentry and groundworks on small to medium-sized Civil Projects. You will be working on setting up formwork, tying steel, pouring ground slabs, forming and pouring concrete pedestals, the install of precast and cast in-situ concrete pits, kerbing, grouting of all structural steel works and various carpenter jobs. You will work closely with other trades and site personnel to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery.

Job Qualifications

• Concreting: 5 years (Preferred)

• Trade qualifications in Carpentry

• Proven work experience including civil construction, earthworks and building maintenance.

• Experience with machinery or assisting civil crews is a bonus, but not essential

• Proven experience in setting up concrete pours, screeding & finishing concrete is desirable

• Ability to read plans and specifications

• Minimum C Class driver’s license - Willing to obtain HR License

• Current Elevated Work Platform

• Current Working at Heights

• Construction white card
